What's the inspiration behind Willow's Earth?

As a lifelong equestrian and writer who has spent years digging into how industries work behind the scenes, I started asking a simple question: how eco‑friendly is the equestrian world, really? To me it seems that while many riders care deeply about the environment, the industry itself still has a long way to go - from waste and plastics to fast‑fashion riding gear and the carbon footprint of everyday horse care.

Willow’s Earth was born from that curiosity and a desire to do better. This platform is my way of exploring what sustainability can look like in the equestrian space: honest reviews, practical guidance, and a spotlight on brands and services that are genuinely trying to reduce their impact.

Right now, the products available on the site are test items - things I’m currently trialling and will be reviewing in depth soon. I want to understand how they perform in real life, whether their eco‑claims hold up, and whether they’re truly worth recommending to riders who want to make more responsible choices.
